Last night - real late after a 2 hour flight delay - Syl's Grandma Lynne and Grandpa Steve arrived for a quick weekend visit. Grandpa Steve got Grandma Lynne a plane ticket as a surprise birthday present! Syl obviously remembers them, because there was no "stranger anxiety whatsoever - she just launched into an extended "conversation" this morning (waking up her Dad).
Tonight the Grandparents are going to babysit, along with all of Syl's area Aunts and Uncles, while Mom and Dad take advantage of the opportunity to head to Boston for dinner with Brendan and Trystan. A good deal all around. And since the only thing her grandparents could really plausible spoil her with at this stage is an extra helping of pears, it's low-risk!
