Just a week before Sylvie's own dance recital debut, it was a special treat when Grandma Lynne broke out a "magic box" full of Mommy's, Aunt Emily's, Aunt Naomi's, and Aunt Amy's old dance recital outfits!

How lucky for Sylvie to have her cousins in town for some inaugural play on her new playground?!

They left this morning and she already misses them terribly.  Hoping this vid will cheer her up!

Super heroes!!!

Grandma Lynne brought the kids a Super Surprise - Super Hero capes and Power Bracelets!!! Needless to say, there have been many acts of superhuman strength, flying, etc. going on around here this weekend...

The kids also turned Sylvie's trampoline into a fairly convincing Space Speeder... Steven was the designated driver, which made perfect sense. He only drinks milk.

Eight Years Ago Today...

A Home Day is More Fun with Cousins

We stayed close to home on a rainy Sunday... not that any of the kids minded...

The girls are getting along very, very well. There is the occasional sharing-based eruption, but they are few and far between. Stevie mostly looks on bemusedly.

The day Sylvie has been waiting for these many weeks has finally arrived - her cousins are here!!

None of the adults are too sure how this whole sleeping together thing is going to work out, but we are going to give it a shot...
