Two peas in a pod

I get sharing a dog bed, but this seems ridiculous.

Is this Spring?

It felt almost like spring today...

Sylvie is the best dog trainer in the family, hands down.

Notice a similarity in size all of a sudden? Sophie does.

Sylvie in her teenager pjs

Mom  says she looks old! Best part is that she helped make them.

Moonlight serenade

Sylvie entertained the family tonight with a piano concert in the dark. Boo and Petunia are big fans! The concert included a sing- a-long  to "Mary had a little lamb".

Dave & Busters

Dad met us at Dave & Busters for lunch today, and then Sylvie and I stayed to play a few games. Not surprisingly, she beat the pants off of me in ski ball!

After the craziness of D&B's, we headed to Barnes & Nobles for a bit of quiet (and Starbucks).

Green grilled cheese

Sylvie Haley...cat whisperer

The crew in Ohio are getting lots of TLC from our youngest feline fan. Boo is playing peek a boo ( her favorite game plus its really cold here), Milo thinks she's the sweetest kiddo ever ( and she gives good treats), and even Petunia is gracing us with her presence.

Breakfast at Rubin's

Cheese heaven

Sylvie loved Heini's Cheese Chalet. Fulfilling a childhood dream of mine, she went through the sample line twice.

Just Another Day at the Office

Bruschi and I dropped Syl and Melissa at the airport EARLY this morning for their flight to Cleveland. While Sophie can be trusted to hang at home without getting into mischief, Bruschi is a bit young for that, so he came to work with me for the second Friday in a row. To say he's a popular boy would be a vast understatement. I wasn't even present for the vast majority of these photos, as colleague after colleague "borrowed" him for long stretches of the day!

First, though, he met Sammie, the legal department's reigning canine mascot. There was some concern about how Bruschi would be received, but he soon won her over.

If you think my colleague Ben looks exactly like Pete from Mad Men, you aren't alone. Here, Bruschi and Sammie get up to speed on the Chrysler account...

Then B was pup-napped by my friend Tey, who stole him away to the HR department for a good three hours of unadulterated adulation.

...and several naps on Tey's lap.

The best part of HR was meeting Tessie, a Bernese Mountain Dog almost exactly Bruschi's age!

For the second week in a row, Caitlin took Bruschi to several meetings and held him on her lap. He LOVES Caitlin.

I tried it too. That grin is because he was snoring loud enough to stop the guy who was trying to present about data use.

At the end of the day we ran into Jonathan Bush, athenahealth's CEO.

Bruschi promptly curled up on Jonathan's feet and fell asleep, so Jonathan took his lead...

When we got home Sophie greeted Bruschi the way she ordinarily greets Melissa, Sylvie, and me: with whines of joy, face licks, and lots of jumping around. It was pretty cute.
