Took the day off today and went with the girls and Sy's friend Cassie to Dave and Buster's.

Christmas Part III: Mary and the Movies

Christmas Eve Mary Nolan came to lunch, and then we spent the event at the movies, seeing SING! (which was fantastic!).

Grammy and Grampy arrived Thursday evening, and shortly after they did the O'Learys made the scene for a delicious lasagne dinner.

Open House

Nice time at Syl's classroom open house this morning. She showed us her immaculately clean desk, the working flashlight she and her partner, Jack, built, and a bunch of great written work. 

 

 

 

Oh, she's wearing PJs because later in the day they were being allowed to "read in bed" with their new flashlights!

Santa... on a fire truck!

Apparently the Wayland firefighters have been doing this neighborhood tour every year since 1964! Super cool. The Greens introduced us to what is sure to become an annual tradition.

And I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight, "Thank God that is over, I'm freezing my jingle bells off!"
