Christmas morning

We start Christmas with Syl opening her Santa gifts.

More pre-Christmas antics

We started Christmas Eve with a trip to Sun-N-Fun Lagoon, a water park. I don't have any photos (water slides + me with a phone = bad idea jeans), but I'm sure Dan will add some later.

We then came home and splashed in (and relaxed by) the pool. 

Later, we went out to dinner with one of Alicia and Dan's friends, Peggy. 

After that, we walked downtown to the snow festival. (The "snow" is still a mystery to me. It had no taste/odor and wasn't cold.  Huh.)

There's one tiny bit of snow on Big D's head.  Who can spot it? 

We capped off the evening with a stop for ice cream, the ladies stunning the Dans with our lovely voices as we sang carols the entire car ride home, and Sylvie reading "The Night Before Christmas" and saying a heartfelt goodbye to Chippey, her elf on the shelf (that last part was a bit much).
