Thanksgiving in NYC

Commissioned art!

 Several months ago one of my colleagues at Sprinklr who follows me on social media reached out to ask if Syl might be willing to do some commission work for an HR program she was building called "Sprinklr Happier." Syl eagerly agreed (and I quickly got out of the loop!). 

Syl was given a number of word prompts, and total autonomy to create illustrations reflecting the concepts. My colleagues were THRILLED with the results, which are being rolled out to our two thousand employees worldwide. I frequently get messages raving about how talented my little girl is - which, of course, I know! I am very proud of her. And of course it is pretty cool to be fifteen and already a paid artist!

 Winter arrived JUST in time for Grampy's first in person Pats game in a number of years. Gusty winds and a chill well below zero combined with abysmal play by both teams made for a challenging day on some levels - but we had a ton of fun nonetheless!

Godspell

 What an incredibly fun and well-executed show Syl was in last week! I was just blown away by the talent of these kids. These photos go a little ways to showing what a truly wonderful, fun, energetic show Godspell, as performed by the Wayland High School crew, was!

FIFTEEN!!!

 Our beautiful, smart, considerate, talented, not-so-little girl turned fifteen yesterday. To celebrate, Melissa and I let her lead us through the various challenges at Level 99, which was a ton of fun! Then we went back to Melissa's house for presents, followed by homemade pizza and tiramisu. 

Syl really appreciated all the cards, gifts, and well-wishes. It was a nice day.
