We have had one nice weather lacrosse day. Last Sunday was supposed to be bright and sunny. The hour before game time, my two favorite weather apps predicted ZERO percent chance of rain. And then...

Syl is coming along, getting into the mix in the games now. I am proud of her!

I trusted the aforementioned apps, so it was good to have friends with an umbrella.

The practical joke onslaught at athena continues. A box fill of these custom cookies arrived last week, and promptly started showing up all over the company!

And somehow my corporate photo on our company systems grew a new mustache!

New Life Foundation 5K

Trystan and Brendan spend a lot of time working with a local charity called the New Life Foundation, that arranges for furniture donations to needy families trying to start their homes. It is a great group of people, so we were happy to spend a beautiful Saturday morning yesterday participating in the 5K that Trystan had a lot to do with putting together.

Of course Jess and Avery Green joined in too.

Avery is quite the athlete, and a legitimate running partner for me! So we split up and turned on the jets a little.

The run was on the grounds of the Medfield State Hospital, an abandoned mental facility... creepy for sure, but beautiful! The movie Shutter Island with Leo DiCaprio was shot in part here, as well as parts of the upcoming X-Men movie!
