Last week, before the girls headed to Cleveland, Matty and Jen Hamilton made their nearly-annual pilgrimage to Boston for the U2 concert. I clearly recall last year, following the nostalgia-laden 30th anniversary Joshua Tree tour, thinking, "that's it--I don't need to see U2 in concert again. But when the tickets were offered, I snapped them up.
The show was okay, but I should have heeded my own advice. And Bono and the boys should stay off of building-sized HD screens. They still put on a good show, but they are getting too old for some of their dance moves!
It sure was good to have a night out with the Middlebury crew, though!
