Date night in Cleveland

Grandma Lynne and Grandpa Steve graciously offered to watch Syl last night so that Dan and I could stay at the Hyatt Regency Arcade in Cleveland, which is where we had our wedding.

Late 2nd dinner at The Greenhouse Tavern

It was delicious, and we were both super happy to see that the Euclid side of the Hyatt has had a renaissance in the last 14 years. At the time of our wedding, the hotel told us to inform our guests not to use that exit because the neighborhood in that direction was really seedy. Now it’s not only safe and fun, but also proves that hipsters have made their way to Cleveland. Our dinner check was presented on a VHS copy of The Princess Bride (cue the groans).

This morning while Dan was on a 16 mile run—crazy person—I had a delish egg and cheese sandwich, was guessed to be 30 years old 😁😁😁, went to the gym for a normal person workout, popped into an art gallery, and bought a drink at the most beautiful grocery store I’ve ever seen (the Heinen’s on Euclid).

Thanks Mom and Dad!
