Syl's dad got a kind of cool / kind of funny bit of professional recognition recently, in Campaigns & Elections magazine (which, in case anyone out there isn't an avid reader, is a national, non-partisan magazine for political junkies). I won't lie and say I'm not pretty excited to be listed in the company that I'm listed in... but I also recognize this as an excellent illustration of the Big Fish / Small Pond principle. The best reaction I've gotten so far is, "that's kind of like being named one of the ten most influential Episcopalians in Riyadh, right?" Anyhow, the article is linked here, if you're interested. From the main page, click on the Massachusetts link to see the whole thing.

Well-done, Daneigh! Shame "Campaigns & Elections" can't afford a copy editor.
Dan, that's awesome! I knew you when....
