OK, I finally got to editing the hundreds of photos I took on Christmas, and they are now posted in the photo column.
As you can see, we spent a lot of time with our wonderful friends the Phifers and the O'Learys, who so kindly included us in their Christmas dinner. Other than that, we spent most of the day in the family room, opening presents, enjoying each others' company, and generally making a big old mess! Sylvie obviously didn't know what was going on, but she was interested enough in the variation from the ordinary routine to stay wide awake almost all day long.
We missed our family, but had a nice first Christmas with our daughter. We're looking forward to extending the season over the course of the next month, as Sylvie takes us "on tour" to Ohio and Florida!
