JDRF One Walk

We had a great time on Sunday at Six Flags supporting one of the bravest kids we know, Sydney Liggett, by walking in the JDRF One Walk to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes research.

For those who don't know her, Sydney is almost exactly Syl's age, and as the daughter of two of our dearest friends, she has known Syl all her life - literally.

Last year (just after a joint trip to Six Flags, as it happens), Sydney was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes - truly a life-changing event for her, and her whole family.

We've been in awe of how this crew has adapted, and truly remained the same fun-loving, optimistic people they have always been.

Great time for a great cause!
