Holiday Dreams!

My friends from High School, Jonathan and Leslie, do this really cool thing every year that they call "Holiday Dreams." The concept is simple: they collect wish lists from kids all over MetroWest Boston via various social service organizations, and then they distribute those lists to volunteers who fill them. The cool thing is the gifts go to the kids' families unwrapped. So far as the kids know, the gifts come from Santa or their parents or whomever - not from some charity. Melissa, Syl and I have sponsored a couple of kids a year for nearly a decade. This year we expanded it to athena, and sponsored nearly 100 kids! I had to rent a van!
