Through a door on Lansdowne Street

So about an hour and a half after the Red Sox game yesterday, our group was exiting a nearby bar and heading back toward dinner.  Tom, this free-spirited photographer friend of ours, said, "Danny, where do you think that door goes?" pointing to an opening on the side of Fenway Park.  Of course we decided to find out.

The funny thing about wandering around Fenway after a game is that the clean-up crews are so focused on their daunting task that they apparently just assume anyone who is there belongs there.  We had total freedom to wander, and took advantage - got down on the field, climbed around in the Green Monster - we even found a locker room... though it turned out to be the security team's locker room.

In the end getting in wasn't the problem - we had to find a security guard to let us out.  He didn't seem to mind too much.

A few shots.  More from yesterday in the April 2011 gallery.
