Flaming cotton candy
Everyone in the Mork-Haley crew thoroughly enjoyed the flaming cotton candy head.

Pre-Christmas fun in Naples
A rainy first day (we went to see It’s a Wonderful Life in the Theater!) gave way to a beautiful second afternoon, so we took advantage of the opportunity for a beach walk. Funny juxtaposition: Syl pining for her bathing suit to go in the ocean, and her mom bundled up for an arctic expedition!
Syl has become a Monopoly fiend. Grammy is game (but no cheating, Syl!).
Last night we had a fun “family collision” dinner with the Morks in downtown Naples, featuring...
A cotton candy HEAD!! Just look at Melissa’s face.

Christmas cocktails
Last night we had some of the best people we know over for an impromptu meal and Christmas cocktails. Melissa whipped up some excellent baked ziti, and several ugly sweaters made the scene. In addition to being fantastic people, the O'Learys, Duffys, and Greens have collectively produced a group of just utterly wonderful kids. Every one of them is a pleasure to have around.
We feel particularly blessed this year because this big fella could easily have been absent after a very near miss in a serious bike accident not six weeks ago. Does this look like a guy who was hit head on by a car and fractured three vertebrae in November??
Selfies got a little out of control...
What a wonderful start to the Christmas season.
Sprinklr Christmas Party
I had a great time this week at my first Sprinklr holiday party. Somehow, I managed to stumble across another really great, fun group of co-workers. I'm on a streak!
This is most of the executive team, as good a group of people as I could have hoped to find.
This is Siobhan and Cheyenne, who planned the circus-themed party.
It was held in Bryant Park, overlooking the Christmas Village and ice rink. Great venue and excellent turnout!
There were acrobats. they were a little freaky.
This fellow wore a very little hat.
Christmas surprise (or: surprised by Christmas)
Last weekend Melissa made much of her decision not to decorate the house for Christmas this year, since we will be in Florida Christmas week. Turns out she was playing me.
I came home from New York Thursday night to find Melissa had spent the better part of the week decorating the house beautifully, including stockings hung by the chimney with care...
Such a wonderful surprise to come home to!!! I have a wonderful wife.
