Last night we had some of the best people we know over for an impromptu meal and Christmas cocktails. Melissa whipped up some excellent baked ziti, and several ugly sweaters made the scene.
In addition to being fantastic people, the O'Learys, Duffys, and Greens have collectively produced a group of just utterly wonderful kids. Every one of them is a pleasure to have around.
We feel particularly blessed this year because this big fella could easily have been absent after a very near miss in a serious bike accident not six weeks ago. Does this look like a guy who was hit head on by a car and fractured three vertebrae in November??
