Last weekend Syl and I took advantage of a beautiful day to explore part of the Minuteman National Park. which is within easy biking distance of our house.
This meant getting out of our comfort zone (bike path) a little bit, and navigating some streets in the bustling metropolis of Concord, MA.
This is a replica where the Old North Bridge stood. This is the site of the "Shot Heard Round the World" that touched off the American Revolution. How cool is it that we biked here?
The battlefield is beautiful. Hard to imagine what happened here.
Syl's favorite part was discovery of the "best climbing tree EVER."
Mine was post-lunch ice cream.
