Brendan's 50th (not) shark diving

 For aa long as I have known him. Brendan has been saying that when he turned 50, he was going to bring all of his guy friends to the Bahama's to go cage diving with sharks.

I have to admit, I had more than a little trepidation when it became apparent he meant it. 

Despite many Covid-related challenges, eight of the ten guys he invited made it to the Bahamas this month, with the full, if hesitant, intent of getting on a boat on Sunday and going in the water, in a cage, with a bunch of tiger sharks.

This is Harold and Sade, a husband and wife duo who came to the house two of the nights and cooked incredible meals for us.

I cannot say I was exactly crushed when we woke up Sunday morning to find ten foot seas coming in from an approaching storm. No sharks for us this time. But we did all have a wonderful weekend!
