Sylvie ushered in 2009 with friends and family at the O'Leary House, where she was joined by Aunt Naomi and soon-to-be Uncle Ben II, and a whole bunch of her friends. Figuring most of the kids (and, truth be told, the adults) wouldn't make it to midnight, we celebrated New Years along with the good citizens of the Azores, at 8pm EST. Dad didn't have his camera to record the festivities (!!!) so we'll have to wait on some shots from Brendan and Trystan.

Big weekend coming up! Tomorrow we travel to Burlington, VT, where on Saturday Sylvie gets another new uncle - when Aunt Emily marries the Bearded Guy!
