boarding

Syl has been taking advantage of the PERFECT skateboarding driveway at 101 Plain Road that she has taken for granted. The drive in Sudbury isn't bad, but she'll miss the massive, flat loop!

Final Plain Road Visitors

We didn't know it at the time, but the Longenecker's impromptu stop-by on May 1 ended up being our last bit of company at Plain Road. We sure hosted a lot of good times in that house. Little Finley and Max were an appreciative pair to round it out with.

Fin sure loves Syl ("She's Booooootiful!!!"). I think there may be a babysitting gig in the future.

Frolicking at the new place

Syl and I brought Kaileigh over to the new house to check out the yard. They are going to have a lot of fun exploring this place! And although we are in a new town, we clocked it at only 10 minutes from Kaileigh's driveway.

Syl's only specific wish - a climbing tree - is fulfilled many times over at 150 Dakin!

A Milestone Day!

Melissa has rejoined the working world! She's set up in the dining room pending our move, and just started  her online orientation with Harvard! Syl and I could not be more proud of and excited for her!

Speaking of milestones: these two kids celebrated 17 years of marriage Saturday night. Here's to a great 18th, full of change, opportunity, and challenges!

Finally back to Florida!

It was great to see Grammy and Grampy after more than a year (!!!).

First, though, Syl and I had to make it to Florida - a task made more difficult by a late April snowstorm in Boston on departure day that caused a four hour delay (all of which were spent on a packed airplane).

This kid has always been a trooper.

Melissa hung back for a couple of days to hit some more open houses, as we were in the thick of the seach at that point. Sadly, she missed the best weather of the trip!

Three dolphins put on quite a show off Naples pier.

Traditional post-beach lunch at Tommy Bahama's

...and dinner on 5th Avenue, introducing Gram and Gramp to sushi.

Melissa joined us just in time for one sunny afternoon.

Dinner at Bay House never lets us down.

For our last evening's dinner, we hooked up with the Lavelles (sp?), Gram and Gramp's wonderful new friends from KY who have been lifesavers for them these last few months. What nice people!

On the way home the delay was only three hours. Improvement!
