Last batch of camp photos

We're really glad she did this - and grateful to the folks at Windsor Mountain for making it possible.

Syl's camp art

I love having Syl walk me through her sketch book when she gets home from camp. This year, many of her drawings were inspired by an "Inktober" exercise for school. The kids get a one word prompt, and they draw based on it. Syl decided to give her drawings a Halloween flair. Some of them crack me up.

"Randell" (a request)

Syl drew this on her first day, when she was feeling lonely and isolated. She claims that has nothing to do with it, but...

(thinking of her favorite show)

"Teeth"

"Hope"

These are some doodles with markers that she did in her idle time.

Speaking of leaves...

I don't know if it's a COVID thing, but I just can't stop taking photos of foliage this year.

Every year there are a few days when the leaves on the maples in the front yard make the whole house seem orange tinted.

The view from "my office" is even better this week than usual.

These two are close to peak. Any day now the leaves at the top will start to drop.

Like a rainbow, slightly scrambled.
