The Easter Bunny is Creepy

That's just the truth.

We did Easter brunch this year at The Beehive in Boston, and this dude was literally lurking in a darkened hallway. The stuff of nightmares.

But I digress. Before that horror, "the Easter Bunny" visited 101 Plain and deposited the usual basket of goodies for Syl, and, per usual, did a passable job "hiding" eggs around the house.

After some sugar, we got dolled up and headed to Boston.

Hope everyone had a nice Easter!

Fun in Florida

The latest sign of the inexorable march of time for me came inconveniently last week, in the form of a bulging disc / pinched nerve in my neck, imperfectly timed to turn an otherwise perfect trip to Florida into something of a personal ordeal. Despite the discomfort on my end, we had a great time visiting Grammy and Grampy Haley, and enjoying the near-perfect weather.

Look who got in the pool within minutes of arrival (not Sylvie. The other one)!

This guy knows what time it is. This is a BIG sculpture by cast bronze artist Jim Rennert. Melissa and I invested in a much smaller piece, which will shortly be in our dining room!

Always nice to see Aunt Joanne.

This imp stole my new hat!

We hit on a perfect beach day: warm, windy, and big waves!

The life...

Melissa and I took advantage of the built-in sitters for a date night.

These two girls took advantage of our absence for a "midnight swim"!

Final thing: Syl is quite the driver.

Thanks for a fun time, Gram and Gramp!

Lax parents

Looks like Melissa and I are lacrosse parents.

Nobody is so surprised as we.

Badass.

Between practices, Avery Green has been a godsend of a tutor.

Between Megs, Syl, and Aves, Aves is the current Alpha. But she's bringing the others along!
