Kickoff to Christmas

We discovered that the Greens and the Haleys both had an unencumbered Sunday evening as we moved into Christmas week, so we invited them over to watch the Patriots game and enjoy some Christmas cheer.

Football and make-your-own pizza. Does it get better than that?

Family arrives tomorrow night. Two more days 'til CHRISTMAS!!!

Sylvie & I decided to treat ourselves to mani-pedis while Dan is out running. I love my spa buddy!

Visiting Santa... taking target practice...

With Christmas rapidly approaching we figured we'd better get on the stick and check on Santa's schedule so that Syl could get her wish list registered before the big day.

Turned out Santa happened to be near by, at Bass Pro Shops of all places. They had a pretty cool little village set up for him, between the boats and the tackle.

She was skeptical about this guy beforehand, but afterwards confirmed that he appeared to be the genuine article...

And what visit to Santa would be complete without some... target practice? She wasn't shooting at Santa, for the record.

Gingerbread House

Melissa has been cooking up a storm getting ready for Christmas, but this morning she took some time out to take Sylvie to a gingerbread house-making event sponsored by the Holliston Newcomers' Club. Now if we can only convince them not to nibble at their masterpiece!
