FIFTEEN!!!

 Our beautiful, smart, considerate, talented, not-so-little girl turned fifteen yesterday. To celebrate, Melissa and I let her lead us through the various challenges at Level 99, which was a ton of fun! Then we went back to Melissa's house for presents, followed by homemade pizza and tiramisu. 

Syl really appreciated all the cards, gifts, and well-wishes. It was a nice day.

Final leaves and misc

 October may be my favorite month.  It certainly is, photography-wise.

A busy Sunday!

 First, an early ride, freezing to start, sweltering at end. New England in October!

Then a nice mid-day hike

But we were just getting started! We had four pumpkins to carve...

... and a gift bench to assemble!

Still running!

 Syl and I have been keeping up the running - and she even went on one  herself! Another six and change miles this past weekend, and she insisted on "running not jogging" the final mile. 

More October Art

 October was a nice combo of digital, sketch pad, and painting.

I already posted this first one, but thought it worth a repeat. Beautiful painting that we brought to Aunt Mary in the rehab center.
