 Had some people - and a slew of canines! - over to the pool for a low-key celebration of the 4th.

 The O'Learys recently went to a local dog shelter, "just to look." That worked out as such things always do.   Meet Tucker's new sister, Tilly. She's a pip!

Fun time in Austin

 My teams got together late last month for our first in-person retreat since the beginning of the pandemic. It was great to get some in person time with a bunch of people who I work with every day, but who, in many cases, I'd never yet met in person. I work with a fun, very smart group of people.

June Art

 With the exception of my Father's Day painting, Syl concentrated on digital art this past month. 

Most of these were created as part of an "Art Fight" she is participating in online. The rules, so far as I understand them, are: there are teams. Each artist creates a set of characters. Then members of opposing teams draw versions of their opponents' characters, and the "winner" is the best version, as voted on by the participants.  Syl has been cranking out characters, each of which has at least a rudimentary backstory (usually pretty funny and creative). This grim young lady, for example, hunts frogs.

This set is an experiment in layering. How cool is this?

This last one is one of those "wow" pieces that just take me back. She was just playing with texture.
