Playground! Beach! DRIVING!!!

Of course we had to hit a playground...

Sylvie takes hide-and-seek very seriously... though she isn't so good at it.

We even managed a beach day! Sylvie wasn't nuts enough to swim in the cold ocean, but she enjoyed wading... and I got some pretty shots.

Perhaps most momentous at all were Sylvie's first driving lessons.

We rounded out the visit with a very nice dinner, where Sylvie gave hugs to the waitress--AND the couple at the table next to ours!

Naples Zoo

One nice thing about the cool weather--it made for a great zoo day! Unfortunately about a billion other people realized the same thing. But the crowds didn't get in our way at all.

We had a great time visiting Grammy and Grampy in Florida last week. At the time it seemed a little nuts for Sylvie to spend so much time in the pool, with highs in the sixties at best most days. Now that we are back in the sub-zero weather, less so...

Art in Florida

I work with some really great people who today made my little girl feel like an honored guest. She was with me ALL day, from 9 until 6:30, and she didn't want to leave! One of many, many reasons I love where I work.

Sylvie had a seat at the table...

She was a BIG fan of our new pizza oven. Made to order!

And of Liz's kinetic sand.

By the end of the day, she and Liz were like peanut butter and jelly.

My colleagues also relieved Syl of 50 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies - before noon!

It is always good to see Stephanie.

And Sylvie even got to go to Pedro's after work...

... and meet Caitlin's new baby, Ali!
